Last week we could enjoy a fantastic birdwatching activity with David Tomlison (Gourmet Birds) and other five birdwatchers

It was six routes in Picos de Europa National Park in wich our target was extensive an varied: Raptors, passerines, alpine birds…etc. There was fantastic moments like the sightings of the black vulture and the lammergeiers of diferent ages, the wallcreeper, the snowfinch and the alpine accentor in the alpine area, the honey buzzars and the blue rock thrush in el Cuera mountain range, beautiful butterflies and moths and of course the unexpectedly moment when we found a new territory of Golden Eagle with a new nest where a big chick called his parents to be fed.

All without forgetting the good moments proving the local gastronomy and enjoying the historical heritage.

But for me, the best was to share those enjoyable moments with all this wonderful people. Thanks David, Gabriel, Eve, Carolyn Janet and of course Thanks a lot to Gourmet Birds for trusting us.
