Birding Picos de Europa is a birdwatching project located in Picos de Europa National Park (northern Spain) and its immediate surroundings.

From our lodge, in the outskirts of the small village of Llonín (Asturias. Spain), we have easy access to the most important birdwatchings places, from the cantabrian coast to the alpine zone.

Here, many of our most important birds can be seen in not more than 45 minutes drive. Great raptors like Golden Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Aegiptian Vulture, Short-Toed Eagle…etc, alpine birds like Snow finch, Wallcreeper, Alpine Accentor and much more…

An important fact in  Picos de Europa National Park is that, due to the reintroduction led by The Bearded Vulture Foundation(FCQ), since 2010, we can enjoy observing the Bearded Vulture, perhaps one of the most incredible and amazing bird in the Iberian Peninsula.

All activities will be guided by Javier Gil, biologist, Official Tourist Guide of The Principality of Asturias and  more than 20 years experienced .
